Movie Review Round Up

These have little thought put into them.
But I will probably do some more in depth
looks with certain films.

Underworld: Rise of the Lycans C-
An alright story, works as a prequel,
but given this is explained just as well
in the first film. Mr. Tatopoulous (mispelled
all to hell) should stick to SFX, which seemed
to slip in this film. This saddens me since I enjoyed
the Lycans in the first Underworld.

New in Town C
I watched this because there was little
else on nearby. Incredibly predictable,
but all of these are. I still enjoyed the
fact I was seeing something that didn't
require that much brain power.

Coraline B
Henry Selick does wonderful stop motion,
and Coraline is no exception. While it
isn't as great as Nightmare, it is a
welcomed entry in his film career. It's
also nice to see stop motion without
much assistance from CG for the animation.

Taken C
This film is pretty much your standard
action flick. Not as explosivey, but it's
okay. The teenagers in it annoy me, but it
has Liam Neeson which is okay by me.

The International C+
Though the trailers make it out
to be a James Bond wannabe, it's actual
a pleasant little Thriller that could be
better, but just isn't. The ending is also
a little out of the norm, which is something
I enjoyed.
